Well can you believe October and snow in the forecast, just what one would expect here in New England. After an enjoyable weekend in Marshfield, we opted to follow the more indoor path and packed an over night bag for a week night in Connecticut @ Fox Woods. Not bad plan reservations at Two Trees just across the parking lot from the casino. Nice room, good dinning, indoor pool door to door shuttle no need to hook up or tow the Jeep for less that the price of a camp ground sixty six dollars if memory is correct. The most shocking thing was the lack of crowds of people @ the casino, if you think the economy does not effect them guess again. But it did allow us a much wider selection of penny games to gamble the day away. No big winning but lots of fun playing Deal or NO Deal but I think the banker was saving the cash for some one else. All in all a fun week night off and a break for the RV. Home on Friday now that was a switch and a chance to catch the grandson playing soccer on Saturday, followed by granddaughters' birthday on Sunday looks like we can use a rest this week. Mother nature did unfold a good double northeaster for the weekend of the 17, wind, rain, snow, and thunder yes a true new England event. I great time to relax and catch up on a good movie or two. It is my understanding some of our folowers will hit the road to start there snow bird trips to warmer places this week safe travel to were every you go.
